Description

The Tonic is a 14-light cluster pendant built around a 600mm circular matt black canopy that suspends fourteen individual metallic shades on adjustable cables. Each shade houses a GX53 LED lamp socket rated for 2700K warm white output, with the fourteen shades split across chrome, bronze and copper finishes to create a mixed-metal composition when viewed from below.

Designed for dining areas, kitchen islands, double-height entrance halls and hospitality lobbies where ceiling heights exceed 2.6m, the Tonic provides both ambient and decorative function. The adjustable suspension cables allow each pendant to be set at a different drop length between the 480mm minimum and 2000mm maximum, creating a staggered cluster that fills vertical space without requiring all fourteen lights to hang at the same level. The dimmable GX53 LEDs work with compatible dimmers to adjust light intensity from full output down to low ambient levels.

The mixed-metal palette allows the Tonic to bridge warm and cool interior tones simultaneously. The copper and bronze shades pair with warmer woods and earth tones, while the chrome elements tie into cooler greys and whites. The matt black canopy acts as a neutral anchor that prevents the metallic variety from appearing chaotic when viewed against a white ceiling. At 12.3kg the fitting requires a suitable ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point capable of supporting the combined weight of the canopy, cables and fourteen metal shades.

The staggered drop heights place light at different vertical levels, which softens shadows and spreads illumination more evenly across a long dining surface or kitchen island below.
