The Tokio is a 300mm table lamp built around a cube-shaped shade of layered gloss black acrylic pieces suspended within a polished chrome rectangular frame. A single G9 bulb (sold separately) sits at the centre of the cube, with light refracting through the faceted acrylic layers and casting geometric shadows onto nearby surfaces.

Designed for side tables, bedside positions, console tables and lounge settings where decorative accent lighting is needed, the Tokio functions as both a light source and a sculptural object. The 160mm x 160mm footprint sits comfortably on most table surfaces without occupying excessive space, while the 300mm height gives the lamp enough presence to hold its own against taller adjacent furniture.

The gloss black acrylic pieces are precision-cut to create irregular facets that catch light at multiple angles when the lamp is lit, creating a shifting visual effect as you move around the room. The polished chrome frame provides structural support and a reflective metallic contrast to the matte opacity of the black acrylic. The combination of materials suits contemporary, art deco-influenced and modern interiors where geometric forms and high-contrast finishes are desired.

Yes, when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself does not include dimming controls — dimming is controlled at the wall switch or via an inline dimmer on the cable if you add one.
