Description

The Tobago is a 1250mm tall LED wall light with a slim 55mm-wide profile finished in matt black, housing an integrated 12W LED that delivers 1010 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a frosted diffuser panel running the full height of the fitting. The 110° beam angle spreads light evenly up and down the wall, creating ambient wash lighting rather than a focused beam.

Designed for narrow hallways, stairwells, either side of feature walls, and flanking doorways where a traditional wall light would protrude too far, the Tobago's 113mm projection keeps it clear of foot traffic while the tall vertical format draws the eye upward and makes lower-ceilinged spaces feel taller. The matt black finish absorbs reflections and pairs well with monochrome, industrial and contemporary interiors that use dark accents against lighter walls.

The fitting mounts directly to a wall via a rear-mounted backplate and connects to standard UK mains wiring at 220-240V. At 1.1kg the Tobago is light enough to mount on plasterboard with appropriate fixings, though solid wall mounting is preferable for long-term stability. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for 30,000+ hours of use, eliminating bulb changes for approximately 10-15 years under typical residential use patterns.

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 12W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 1250mm height works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower-ceilinged hallways or staircases the fitting can be mounted lower down the wall to maintain visual proportion.

Can it be mounted on plasterboard?

At 1.1kg the Tobago is light enough to mount on plasterboard using appropriate cavity fixings, though mounting on solid wall is preferable for long-term stability.

Does the light shine up and down or just one direction?
