Description

The Tiffany is a 550mm four-light crystal chandelier built around a central French gold column, with four arched arms each carrying a cream fabric shade and an E14 bulb fitting. Crystal pendants hang beneath each arm, creating vertical accents that catch and reflect light from the bulbs above. The French gold finish is a soft, muted tone that sits between polished brass and antique brass, avoiding the high reflectivity of chrome or the heavy patina of oil-rubbed bronze.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the chandelier provides ambient lighting across a 3-4m room diameter. The adjustable drop of 600-1600mm allows the fitting to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or lowered further in double-height spaces. The cream shades diffuse the light from the four E14 bulbs (sold separately), softening direct glare and creating a warm wash across ceiling and walls. The chandelier fits standard UK ceiling roses and the chain conceals the cable run.

Each arm terminates in a cream pleated fabric shade approximately 120mm in diameter, with the pleating running vertically to create subtle texture when lit. The crystal pendants beneath each arm are facet-cut and hang on individual links, giving movement when air circulates. The 4.2kg combined weight of the French gold metalwork, crystal and fabric requires a secure ceiling fixing into joists or a rated ceiling anchor. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 LED or halogen bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

The fitting is dimmable when paired with suitable dimmable E14 bulbs and a matching dimmer, giving control over the output.

What bulbs does the Tiffany take?

The chandelier takes four E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. We suggest pairing this with 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K. The shades diffuse the light, so higher wattages are rarely needed unless the room exceeds 20m² floor area.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and paired with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. The chandelier itself contains no electronics that would prevent dimming.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 600mm minimum drop suits standard 2.4m ceilings when the chandelier is set above a dining table or in an entrance hall. The 1600mm maximum drop accommodates double-height spaces or vaulted ceilings where a longer suspension is needed for visual balance.
