Description

This is a slim, disc shaped driver in white, built to run LED fittings at a steady current rather than a fixed voltage. It handles loads of up to 30W and accepts both DALI and push dimming, so it can answer to an addressable control system or take its cue from an ordinary retractive switch. The body is shallow and very light in the hand, and the round profile keeps it neat wherever it needs to sit out of sight.

We would choose it for downlights and small recessed fittings that need smooth, quiet dimming rather than coarse steps, and it earns its keep in schemes where several circuits are brought under one control system. That makes it as useful in a house with scene control as it is in a shop, a study or a small office. It is intended for dry indoor positions only, kept away from damp and from anything that would trap heat around it.

The casing is finished in plain white, unbranded on the visible face and free of fussy detail, so it stays anonymous once installed. Looking after it asks very little: isolate the supply, then clear any dust from the housing and make sure nothing has been stacked or laid over it, since a driver wants air around it to stay happy. It carries a three year warranty.
