Sparklite 12 Light Suspension - White & Brass

The Sparklite is a 12-light suspension chandelier built on a white painted metal cruciform frame with brass detailing, suspending twelve G9 bulb holders inside acid-etched white glass globes. The frame's three-tier construction places four globes per level, arranged symmetrically around a central column that extends from canopy to base. Each globe sits on a brass collar that matches the brass detailing on the frame joints and central rod.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Sparklite provides both ambient and decorative function. The 710mm diameter suits tables of 1.6-2.2m length and open-plan areas where the chandelier acts as a visual anchor point. The 590mm drop from canopy to lowest globe works best hung 750-850mm above a dining surface. The twelve G9 bulbs (sold separately) are dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer, allowing output to be adjusted for dining and entertaining.

The matt white finish on the metal frame provides a clean backdrop for the brass accents and acid-etched glass, while the blown glass globes diffuse light evenly without harsh glare or visible bulb filaments. The combination of white, brass and etched glass gives the Sparklite a neutral base that pairs with both warm and cool colour palettes. What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Sparklite takes twelve G9 capsule bulbs (sold separately). Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 2W-4W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light. G9 halogen bulbs can also be used but LED offers lower running costs and less heat output.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The dimmer must be rated for the total wattage of all twelve bulbs combined. G9 LED bulbs often require a trailing-edge dimmer rather than a leading-edge model.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 590mm drop from canopy to lowest globe works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. For dining tables, the chandelier typically hangs 750-850mm above the surface, which requires approximately 2.5m from floor to ceiling after accounting for table height.

How is it cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. The glass globes can be wiped with a soft microfibre cloth dampened with water. For the white painted frame and brass detailing, use a dry or barely-damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes on the brass, as the acid-etched glass may attract dust more readily than smooth glass and benefits from regular light cleaning.
