Description

The Sona is a 3 light semi-flush ceiling light with three cylindrical frosted glass shades radiating from a central satin chrome hub. Each shade houses a G9 bulb (included), and the frosted glass diffuses the light to reduce glare and create soft ambient illumination. The entire fitting measures 100mm in diameter and projects 100mm from the ceiling, making it one of the more compact semi-flush options for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m.

Designed for hallways, landings, small bedrooms and bathrooms (check IP rating before bathroom installation), the Sona provides general ambient light without dominating the ceiling plane. The three arms spread the light across a wider area than a single central shade would, reducing shadows in corners. The satin chrome finish sits comfortably in both contemporary and transitional interiors, pairing with greys, whites and warm neutrals without introducing a strong metallic accent.

The fitting includes three G9 capsule bulbs rated at up to 40W each, giving a maximum combined output of 120W. The frosted glass shades are cylindrical with open ends, allowing some upward light spill onto the ceiling as well as downward distribution into the room. Dimmable bulbs are required if the fitting is to be used with a dimmer switch. At 0.75kg the Sona is light enough to fit standard UK ceiling roses without additional support.
