Description

The Solum is a 3 light crystal pendant with a satin brass frame, white pleated organza shade and cut crystal accents. Three curved brass arms hold individual E14 bulb fittings inside a 400mm-diameter organza shade that tapers from a 400mm base to a narrower top, with a single faceted crystal droplet suspended beneath the shade. The brass canopy and velvet-covered suspension cable extend to a 450mm total drop from ceiling to shade base.

Designed for dining tables, bedroom centrepieces and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Solum balances decorative and ambient function. The organza fabric diffuses light from the three E14 bulbs (sold separately) to create soft, room-filling illumination without glare, while the satin brass frame and crystal droplet catch and reflect light when the fitting is on. The 400mm shade diameter suits tables 1.2-1.6m wide or seating areas in smaller reception rooms.

Each of the three brass arms curves outward from a central brass column before turning upward to hold the bulb fittings just inside the shade perimeter, distributing light evenly across the organza. The cut crystal droplet below the shade acts as a visual anchor and adds a small amount of refracted light. The satin finish on the brass softens reflections and pairs well with warm neutrals, creams and traditional wood tones.
