Description

The Solitha is a 500mm flush ceiling light with five GX53 bulb fittings set behind a blown white glass diffuser, mounted on a satin brass metal frame. The glass surface carries fine relief stripes that catch light when the fitting is off, and diffuse it evenly when lit. The flush mount projects approximately 150mm from the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or lower where pendant lights would hang too close to head height.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas and entrance halls needing general ambient lighting, the five GX53 fittings provide broad, even illumination across a 4-5m room width when fitted with typical 9-11W LED GX53 bulbs. The flush design keeps the fitting out of sightlines when standing or walking through the room, while the 500mm diameter gives enough visual presence to anchor the ceiling in larger open-plan spaces. The white glass hides the bulbs from view and prevents glare.

The acid-etched finish on the glass softens the light output and gives the surface a matte appearance during the day that contrasts with the warmer tone of the satin brass frame. The relief stripes add subtle texture without dominating the design, allowing the fitting to sit comfortably in both contemporary and more traditional interiors.
