The Slim is a 25cm diameter pendant light with an integrated 16W LED panel set into a matt black circular housing. The LED sits behind a frosted white diffuser that spreads 1400 lumens of 3000K warm white light across a 140° beam angle, producing ambient rather than directional illumination. The shallow profile — approximately 30mm deep at the centre — keeps the fitting unobtrusive when hung at typical pendant heights.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, hallways and bedrooms where a clean-lined ceiling fixture is needed, the Slim works individually over a small dining table or in multiples spaced along a kitchen island. The 1500mm maximum drop allows the pendant to be positioned 600-800mm above worktops or 700-900mm above dining surfaces, while the 150mm minimum drop suits installations where the pendant needs to sit closer to the ceiling. The matt black finish on the upper housing means the fitting recedes visually when viewed from below, drawing attention to the light output rather than the fixture itself.

The frosted diffuser hides the LED panel inside and softens the light output so there are no visible hotspots or glare when the fitting is viewed from seating or standing positions below. Is the Slim dimmable?

The adjustable drop between 150mm and 1500mm suits ceiling heights from 2.3m to 3m+. For typical 2.4-2.5m domestic ceilings, the pendant can be set at 600-900mm drop to position it 1.5-1.9m above floor level, which works well over dining tables and kitchen islands.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED panel is integrated into the housing and is not user-replaceable. The LED carries a 3-year warranty and a rated lifespan exceeding 25,000 hours (approximately 11 years at 6 hours per day).

How bright is 1400 lumens?

1400lm is roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb or an 18-20W compact fluorescent. The 140° beam angle spreads the light broadly rather than creating a focused pool, making it suitable for general ambient lighting rather than task lighting.
