Description

The Knightsbridge single-circuit track flexible connector joins two sections of single-circuit track lighting rail at angles or around corners using a 294mm ribbed flex section between two hard plastic terminal housings. Each terminal housing clips onto the end of a track section and maintains electrical continuity across the copper conductors inside the rail, allowing power to flow through the bend.

Designed for track lighting installations where the run needs to navigate around architectural features, turn a corner, or follow a curved ceiling line, the flexible connector replaces the need for rigid L-connectors or T-connectors where the track route is non-standard. The connector is compatible with the Knightsbridge TRKSPxx series of single-circuit track components and can be used as a central power feed point by wiring mains supply into one of the terminal housings.

The thermoplastic and copper construction is rated Class I and IP20 for dry indoor use on 230V 50Hz mains. The satin nickel finish on the terminal housings matches other components in the TRKSPxx range. The ribbed flex section bends to approximately 90 degrees without kinking, giving flexibility to route the track through obstacles while maintaining a clean visual line.

Frequently Asked

What track system is this compatible with?

This flexible connector is designed for the Knightsbridge TRKSPxx series of single-circuit track lighting components. It will not work with three-circuit or other manufacturer track systems.

How flexible is the connector?

The ribbed section bends to approximately 90 degrees without kinking or damaging the internal copper conductors. It allows the track to navigate around corners, follow curved ceilings, or avoid obstacles in the ceiling plane.

Can it be used to feed power into the track?

Yes. The terminal housings accept mains wiring, so the connector can function as a central power feed point anywhere along the track run. This is useful when the mains supply is not located at the end of the track.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating limits the connector to dry indoor locations only. It is not weatherproof and should not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or outdoor covered areas.
