Description

The Knightsbridge single circuit track dead end cap is a 35mm black polycarbonate end piece designed to seal unused ends on TRKSPxx series single circuit track systems. The cap clips into the track profile to close off the live conductors inside, preventing dust ingress and improving safety by isolating exposed electrical contacts.

Used in retail, hospitality and residential track lighting installations where a track run terminates at a wall, corner or end point rather than forming a complete circuit. The dead end cap provides a finished appearance by hiding the internal track profile and conductors, avoiding the exposed-rail look of an unsealed track end. At 18mm projection from the track face, the cap sits flush with the track body without adding noticeable bulk.

The polycarbonate construction is lightweight and impact-resistant, suitable for installations where the track end may be within reach or subject to occasional contact. The black finish matches black TRKSPxx track sections, creating a continuous monochrome appearance across the installation. The cap carries an IP20 rating, meaning it's suitable for indoor dry locations but not for bathrooms, outdoor use or zones where water contact is possible.

Frequently Asked

Which track systems is this compatible with?

This dead end cap is designed specifically for Knightsbridge TRKSPxx series single circuit track. It will not fit three-circuit track or track from other manufacturers. Check the track model number before ordering to ensure compatibility.

How is it fitted to the track?

The cap clips into the open end of the track profile, engaging with the internal conductors and track body. No tools or screws are required for installation — the cap is held in place by friction fit and internal clips.

Can it be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means the cap is suitable for indoor dry locations only. It does not provide protection against moisture, making it unsuitable for outdoor use, bathrooms or other wet environments.

What other finishes are available?

Knightsbridge produces track accessories in black and white to match the corresponding track finishes. Use the search function to find white dead end caps if your installation uses white track.
