Description

A small rectangular shade in black faux silk, with a white laminate lining that bounces the light back down rather than tinting it. The four flat sides give a crisp, boxy outline that sits well against straight-edged furniture, and the cloth carries the soft sheen of silk without the upkeep. Black keeps the sides subdued, so the brightness falls where you want it and the shade itself stays a quiet shape in the room.

We reach for this one on bedside and side-table lamps, where a wider shade would swamp a slim base, and it suits a small pendant over a console or a narrow shelf just as well.
