Description

The LED Fire Rated Downlight is a die-cast recessed fitting with an interchangeable aluminium bezel in a satin nickel finish. It uses a citizen LED light source that is set back within the housing to reduce glare, giving a clean look when viewed from below. The bezel can be swapped, so the finish is not fixed for good, and the recessed body keeps the fitting flush with the ceiling once installed.

Each downlight measures 80mm in diameter and holds one integrated LED, so no separate bulb is needed. Maximum wattage per lamp is 9W, with a maximum fitting wattage of 8.5W, and the LED gives 410 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature. It is dimmable and comes with a trailing edge dimmable driver, so you can set the brightness to suit the room. The fitting is rated IP65 and is BS476 fire rated, making it suitable for use where a fire rated fitting is required. It is Class 1 and weighs 1.10kg. This is an interior fitting.

With its warm white output and IP65 rating, this downlight suits kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and living spaces, and works well in a run across a ceiling for even light. The satin nickel bezel sits well with brushed metal fittings and a plainer scheme.
