Description

This GU10 downlight is a recessed fitting with a satin brass bezel. The bezel is made from aluminium and is interchangeable, so you can swap the finish if your scheme changes over time. It sits flush within the ceiling for a neat, quiet look that draws little attention to the fitting itself and lets the light do the work. The satin brass finish has a soft, warm sheen that suits both traditional and more pared back interiors.

The fitting has an 80mm diameter and takes one GU10 lamp, which is not supplied, so you can choose the output and beam angle that suits your room. Maximum wattage is 10W per lamp and 10W for the fitting, giving around 575 lumens at a warm 2700K colour temperature. It is dimmable, so you can adjust the level to suit the time of day, and it is rated IP65, which means it is protected against dust and water jets. It is BS476 fire rated and Class 1 electrical, and it is designed for interior use. Each fitting weighs 0.44kg.

Because of the IP65 rating and fire rating, this downlight works well in bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and living spaces where you want reliable, even light. Fit several across a ceiling for general lighting, or use them to pick out a work surface or seating area. We supply the downlight on its own, so remember to order your GU10 lamps separately and check the correct dimmer for your chosen lamp.
