Description
The Sangamo Powersaver Plus Select is a 7-day digital timer controller with an LCD display and 16A switch rating at 240V AC. The controller offers three programming modes: 24-hour single-cycle, 5/2-day weekday/weekend split, and full 7-day individual programming, with up to 10 on/off programs per day. A permanent memory reserve retains programming during power cuts, and a button lock prevents accidental setting changes.
Designed for controlling lighting circuits, immersion heaters, electric heating, ventilation systems and other timed loads up to 16A, the Powersaver Plus Select mounts in a single-gang position either surface-mounted (with the included back box) or flush-mounted into a standard UK back box. The LCD displays current time, day of week and active program status, with a green LED indicating when the output is switched on. A manual boost function overrides the programmed schedule for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours or 6 hours without altering the stored program.
The controller's compact 90mm × 92mm × 62mm housing fits a standard single-gang aperture and the black finish suits both residential and light commercial installations. The summer/winter time-change function adjusts the clock forward or back by one hour for daylight saving without reprogramming the schedule. All settings are accessed via three control buttons on the front face, with the button lock engaged to prevent unauthorised changes once the schedule is set.

Frequently Asked
What is the difference between 5/2-day and 7-day programming?
5/2-day mode runs one schedule Monday to Friday and a different schedule on Saturday and Sunday. 7-day mode allows each day of the week to have its own unique schedule. Both modes support up to 10 on/off programs per day.
Does the timer retain settings during a power cut?
Yes. The permanent memory reserve retains all programmed schedules and the current time during power cuts. The controller resumes normal operation when power is restored.
What is the boost function used for?
The boost function manually overrides the programmed schedule to turn the load on for a set period (15 minutes to 6 hours) without changing the stored program. This is useful for one-off heating or lighting requirements outside the normal schedule.
Can it be flush-mounted into a standard UK back box?
Yes. The controller fits a standard single-gang UK back box for flush mounting, or it can be surface-mounted using the included back box. The unit dimensions are 90mm × 92mm × 62mm.
