Sangamo 1 Module 24 Hour DIN Rail Time Switch

The Sangamo 1 Module 24 Hour Time Switch is a DIN rail-mounted timer designed to control lighting, heating, ventilation and other electrical loads on a daily schedule. The unit occupies a single module position on a standard 35mm DIN rail and uses a physical segment wheel to program on/off switching in 15-minute increments across a 24-hour cycle.

Designed for installation in consumer units, distribution boards and control panels in residential, commercial and industrial settings, the time switch provides basic daily scheduling without requiring digital programming. Each 15-minute segment on the wheel is pressed down to set the output on or pulled up to set it off, creating a physical representation of the daily schedule that is visible at a glance. A manual override switch on the front panel toggles between Permanent Off, Automatic (following the programmed schedule), and Permanent On.

The unit includes a 100-hour battery reserve to maintain timekeeping during mains power outages, so the schedule does not need to be reprogrammed after brief supply interruptions. The front panel displays the current time via a rotating dial behind a clear window, with the active 15-minute segment highlighted in red. The compact 43mm width, 65mm height and 108mm depth fit standard UK and European DIN rail installations.

How do I program the switching schedule?

The timer uses a physical segment wheel with 96 segments representing 15-minute intervals across 24 hours. Press down the segments when you want the output on, pull up the segments when you want it off. The current schedule is visible through the front panel window.

Does it retain the schedule during a power cut?

Yes. The unit includes a 100-hour battery reserve to maintain timekeeping and the programmed schedule during mains power outages. The battery does not need replacing under normal use.

What is the manual override for?

The front panel switch has three positions: Permanent Off (output always off regardless of schedule), Automatic (output follows the programmed schedule), and Permanent On (output always on). This allows temporary overrides without reprogramming the segment wheel.

What DIN rail does it fit?
