Description

The Sal Small is a 365mm table lamp with a matt black curved arm supporting a cylindrical satin gold spotlight head that houses a single GU10 bulb (sold separately). The spotlight head pivots on its joint, allowing the light to be directed towards a reading position, a desk surface, or up onto a wall as accent wash.

Designed for desks, bedside tables, console tables and smaller surfaces where a full-size task lamp would overwhelm the footprint, the Sal Small provides focused spot illumination rather than ambient room light. The weighted circular base measures 140mm across and sits low on the surface, while the curved arm rises to position the satin gold head at approximately shoulder height when seated. The pivoting head adjusts to direct light without needing to move the entire lamp.

The satin gold finish on the cylindrical shade provides a warm metallic accent that contrasts with the matt black arm and base, making the lamp visually distinct in both warm-toned and monochrome interiors. The matt black structure absorbs reflections under daylight, while the satin gold catches and diffuses ambient light without the high gloss of polished brass. The lamp accepts any GU10 LED or halogen bulb, giving flexibility to choose light temperature and beam angle.

A warm-white bulb around 2700K to 3000K suits the satin gold shade, reinforcing the metallic glow, while a 4W to 6W LED keeps output modest for close reading.
