Description

Three GU10 heads sit on a round plate 25cm across, each tilting and turning on its own mount so light goes exactly where you want it. The finish is matt black all over, flat and even, so the fitting reads as a dark disc against a pale ceiling rather than catching the eye. The heads are short cylinders that stay close to the plate, keeping the whole fitting tight to the ceiling. We would fit LED reflector lamps in it. GU10 lamps twist in and out from the front, which makes swapping them a quick job.

We suggest it where a single pendant leaves the corners of a room dim and a full run of recessed downlights is more than is wanted: a galley kitchen, a hall, a study, a small landing. Because each head aims separately, one fitting can wash a worktop, pick out a doorway and lift a picture wall at the same time. It is also useful over a dining table in a room where a low pendant would be in the way. It is not dimmable, so it is happiest on an ordinary switch. The fitting is Class I and earthed, and it is meant for dry rooms indoors.

The finish is a powder coated matt black that hides fingermarks better than gloss and takes a dry cloth well; a wipe over the heads once in a while, with the power off and the lamps cold, is all it asks. It carries a one year warranty. If black is too strong for a pale ceiling, we stock the same round plate in matt white, and the range runs on into linear bars, single recessed spots and a switched wall light. Lamps are not included.
