Description

The Roveta is a 350mm square flush ceiling light with a frosted glass centre panel set over a mirrored backplate, framed by a polished chrome decorative pattern. Two E27 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the frosted glass, which diffuses their output into soft, even light. The mirrored backplate beneath the frosted glass reflects light back through the diffuser, increasing brightness without harsh glare.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedrooms and bathrooms where ceiling clearance is limited, the Roveta projects just 80mm from the ceiling surface once fitted. The flush mount makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.4m where a pendant would hang too low. The fitting can also be wall-mounted as a large wall light where horizontal surface-level illumination is needed.

The polished chrome pattern on the frosted glass is laser-cut metal, not printed, giving crisp edges and a dimensional texture visible when the light is off. The mirrored backplate adds depth when viewed at an angle and increases the perceived brightness of the fitting when lit. The 350mm square footprint suits ceiling roses with centres up to 300mm apart and requires a minimum 35mm ceiling void for the lamp holders and wiring.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself does not restrict dimming, but both the bulbs and the dimmer must support the bulb type you choose.

Can it be used in a bathroom?
