Description

The Rosa is a 64cm telescopic chandelier with six satin nickel arms radiating from a central stem, each arm terminating in a dual-layer glass shade housing a G9 bulb fitting. The glass shades combine a frosted inner layer with a clear outer layer, creating a diffused light output that softens the G9 bulb while retaining some of the sparkle of the clear glass exterior.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Rosa can be installed as a semi-flush ceiling light at its minimum 490mm drop or extended on the telescopic stem to a maximum 770mm drop for higher ceilings. The six arms span 640mm diameter, making this suitable for tables or floor areas of 1.8-2.4m width. The central stem is telescopic, allowing the drop to be adjusted during installation without modifying the wiring.

The satin nickel finish on the metal frame provides a brushed, low-sheen surface that sits between polished chrome and brushed steel in reflectivity. The six arms are arranged in a pinwheel configuration, each arm sweeping outward at a slightly different angle from the central column. This creates a dynamic sculptural form rather than a rigid symmetrical arrangement. At 3.6kg the chandelier requires a ceiling fixing rated for 5kg minimum.

The Rosa accepts six G9 capsule bulbs (sold separately), typically 25-40W halogen or 3-5W LED equivalents. Dimming is possible when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch rated for the total lamp load.

The Rosa takes six G9 capsule bulbs. For modern LED performance, use 3-5W G9 LED bulbs in 2700K or 3000K warm white. Avoid halogen G9 bulbs unless you need the exact colour rendering of halogen, as they run significantly hotter and consume 25-40W each.

How is the drop adjusted?

The central stem is telescopic and can be set anywhere between 490mm and 770mm during installation. Once the fitting is wired and the stem locked at the desired height, the drop remains fixed. The stem cannot be adjusted after installation without removing the chandelier from the ceiling.

What ceiling height does it need?

At the minimum 490mm drop, the Rosa suits standard 2.4m ceiling heights when installed in circulation areas. For dining tables or living room positions where the chandelier hangs above furniture, ceiling heights of 2.6-3m allow the fitting to be extended to 600-770mm drop without dominating the room.

Is it dimmable?
