The Reyna is a 27cm industrial pendant light with a stepped cylindrical clear glass shade suspended from a polished chrome frame and chain. The glass shade consists of multiple concentric rings that create depth and refraction as light passes through, while the polished chrome canopy, suspension hardware and internal lamp holder echo early 20th-century factory lighting. A single E27 bulb sits inside the glass enclosure (bulb sold separately).

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and hallways where ceiling heights allow a pendant drop of 550-1500mm, the Reyna works as a single focal point or in multiples over longer surfaces. The 27cm diameter provides enough presence for a 1-1.2m wide dining table or a single-position kitchen island without dominating smaller rooms. The adjustable chain allows the pendant to be set at the correct height during installation, typically 700-800mm above a table surface or 1800-2100mm above floor level in a hallway.

The stepped glass construction adds visual interest beyond a simple dome or cylinder, creating bands of light and shadow when lit and a sculptural quality when off. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding colours and provides a cooler metallic accent than brass or copper alternatives. At 2.2kg the pendant requires a standard UK ceiling rose rated for at least 3kg load. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen — pairing with a dimmable LED E27 bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer provides full control over light intensity.

What bulb does it take?

The Reyna takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for dining or kitchen use.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. LED bulbs typically require a trailing-edge dimmer rather than the older leading-edge type used for halogen and incandescent bulbs.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 550mm to 1500mm. For use over a dining table the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings may require shortening the chain during installation.

Can multiple pendants be used together?

Yes. The 27cm diameter allows multiple Reyna pendants to be spaced 300-400mm apart over kitchen islands or long dining tables without visual clutter. Ensure each pendant is wired to a separate ceiling rose rated for at least 3kg.
