Description

The Remy is a single-pendant light built around a geometric metal frame in heritage bronze, overlaid with a Parisienne gold filigree pattern of intersecting circular arcs and a bronze organza diffuser panel behind the metalwork. The fitting measures 203mm wide by 354mm tall and hangs on an adjustable rod from a square ceiling plate, with a drop adjustable between 440mm and 1518mm on installation.

Designed for kitchen islands, entrance halls and dining positions where a single pendant provides both task and ambient light, the Remy fits a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately). The organza shade diffuses direct glare from the bulb while the bronze and gold metalwork casts shadow patterns onto surrounding walls when lit. The Parisienne gold finish is a warm antique gold tone rather than a bright polished gold, which softens the contrast with the darker bronze frame.

The Remy is part of the Feiss Heritage collection, which draws on French Arts and Crafts detailing — the circular filigree pattern references wrought-iron balcony railings and window grilles common in 19th-century Parisian architecture. The combination of two metal finishes (bronze base, gold overlay) gives the pendant more visual depth than single-finish fittings. What bulb does the Remy take?

The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose a warm-white LED globe or filament-style bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to complement the bronze and gold finishes.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is adjustable on installation between 440mm and 1518mm, but once the rod is cut and the pendant is installed the height is fixed. Choose the final drop height before fitting.

What's the difference between heritage bronze and Parisienne gold finishes?

The heritage bronze is a dark oil-rubbed bronze tone that forms the main frame and backing. The Parisienne gold is a warm antique gold overlay applied to the circular filigree pattern on the front panels. The two finishes are intentionally contrasting to add visual depth.

Can multiple Remy pendants be used over a kitchen island?

Yes. The 203mm width is designed to allow two or three pendants to be spaced along a longer island or counter without crowding. Space them 600-800mm apart, centre to centre, for balanced coverage.
