Description

The Relax is a battery-powered LED bottle stopper lamp with a ridged white diffuser and an integrated touch dimmer. The lamp screws onto standard wine bottles using a threaded rubber stopper at the base, turning the bottle into a portable table lamp. An integrated 2W LED inside the 139mm-diameter shade casts 180 lumens of warm 3000K light through the white pleated diffuser at a 110° beam angle.

Designed for outdoor dining tables, terraces and garden settings, the Relax carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. The USB-rechargeable 3.7V lithium battery provides cordless operation, removing the need for mains power or trailing cables on outdoor tables. The touch dimmer on the shade allows brightness to be adjusted between low ambient and brighter task light without switches or buttons.

The threaded rubber stopper fits most standard wine bottles, champagne bottles and similar glass containers with an internal neck diameter of approximately 18-20mm. The lamp weighs 400g when fitted to a bottle, giving enough mass to resist tipping in light wind when the bottle is at least half-full. The ridged white diffuser hides the LED source and softens the light output, avoiding glare while still providing enough illumination for reading menus or placing food.

The 105mm height keeps the diffuser low over the bottle neck, so light spreads across the table rather than into diners' eyes. Because the LED is integrated it cannot be replaced, but the three-year warranty covers the fitting and its touch dimmer. The 0.4kg shade adds little to the bottle it sits on, keeping the assembly easy to move between tables.

The threaded rubber stopper fits most standard wine bottles, champagne bottles and similar glass containers with an internal neck diameter of approximately 18-20mm. It will not fit bottles with significantly wider or narrower necks.

How long does the battery last on a full charge?

Battery runtime depends on the dimmer setting. At full brightness the 3.7V lithium battery typically provides 4-6 hours of continuous use. At lower dimmer settings runtime extends to 8-12 hours. The lamp recharges via USB cable.

Is it safe to use outdoors in rain?

The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, so the lamp can handle light rain and table spray. It is not submersible and should not be left out during heavy rain or storms.

How is the dimmer controlled?

Touch the white shade to cycle through brightness levels. There are typically three or four dimmer steps from low ambient light to full 180 lumens output. Touching the shade again when at full brightness turns the lamp off.
