Description
The Qbic Small is a 25cm rectangular LED pendant light built from six clear glass panels held in a cable-tensioned frame, with brass corner fittings and exposed brass joining plates at each face. An integrated 20W 3000K LED runs vertically through the centre of the lantern, throwing warm light through the glass walls and out into the room. The fitting suspends from twin steel cables for a lightweight, floating appearance.
Designed for compact spaces where a single pendant has to do real work, the Qbic Small suits dining nooks, breakfast bars, hallway drops, bedside hangs and stairwell positions. The 49cm body and 25cm width keep the fitting in proportion above tables up to about 1.2m wide and beside beds with reasonable ceiling height. The 150cm cable allows the pendant to be hung at the height that suits the room and trimmed on installation.
The clear glass construction is the defining detail: rather than concealing the LED behind a diffuser, the panels expose the light source and the brass hardware that holds the lantern together. The visible cable tensioners, hex fittings and X-shaped corner brackets give the pendant an industrial-architectural character that pairs with exposed brick, polished concrete, dark timber and contemporary kitchens. Light passes through the clear walls largely unobstructed, casting soft shadows of the frame onto nearby surfaces.

Frequently Asked
Does it come with a bulb?
Yes. The Qbic Small uses an integrated 20W LED running at 3000K (warm white), so no separate bulb is required. The LED is built into the central column of the fitting.
How is it suspended?
The pendant hangs from twin steel cables fixed to the ceiling canopy, with the electrical cable running separately. The 150cm cable length can be shortened on installation to set the drop appropriate to the ceiling height and the surface below.
What size space does it suit?
At 25cm wide and 49cm tall, the Qbic Small works well above dining tables up to around 1.2m wide, breakfast bars, kitchen islands, bedside positions and hallway drops. For larger dining tables or open-plan rooms, hanging two or three Qbic pendants in a row gives better coverage than a single fitting.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
The Qbic Small is not supplied with an IP rating in its specification, so it should be treated as a standard indoor pendant. It is not recommended for bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2, or for outdoor or covered-outdoor use.
