Description
The Sangamo Powersaver Plus Select is a programmable timer switch with a backlit LCD display showing time, day and programme status. The unit offers 24-hour, 5/2-day or 7-day programming cycles with up to 10 on/off switching events per day, allowing control of heating, lighting or ventilation circuits to match occupancy patterns. A 16A switch rating handles loads up to 3,680W on 240V mains.
Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the controller mounts in a single gang position either surface-mounted (box included) or flush-mounted in a standard 25mm back box. The button lock prevents accidental schedule changes once programmed, while permanent memory reserve retains settings during power cuts without requiring battery backup. The boost function provides temporary override in 15-minute, 30-minute, 1-hour, 2-hour, 4-hour or 6-hour increments without disrupting the stored programme.
The silver finish and compact 90mm x 92mm x 62mm dimensions allow the unit to fit discreetly alongside standard switches and sockets. The backlit LCD remains readable in low light, displaying time in 24-hour format with clear on/off status indicators. Automatic summer/winter time changeover adjusts the clock twice a year without manual intervention, and the 5/2-day mode simplifies programming for weekday/weekend schedules in offices or retail spaces.

Frequently Asked
What back box depth is required for flush mounting?
The unit fits a standard 25mm single gang back box when flush-mounted. For surface mounting, a single gang surface box is included in the package.
Does the timer retain settings during a power cut?
Yes. The permanent memory reserve retains all programmed schedules and time settings during power interruptions without requiring a battery backup. The clock resumes once power is restored.
What is the boost function used for?
The boost function provides temporary override of the programmed schedule in fixed increments from 15 minutes to 6 hours. This is useful for one-off heating or lighting requirements outside normal patterns without editing the main programme. The schedule resumes automatically when the boost period expires.
Can the 7-day mode have different programmes for each day?
Yes. In 7-day mode each individual day can have its own set of up to 10 on/off events. The 5/2-day mode simplifies this to weekday and weekend patterns, while 24-hour mode repeats the same daily schedule every day.
