Description

The Sangamo Powersaver Plus is a boost controller with an integrated 13A fused spur, combining timed boost control and a switched fused outlet in a single-gang unit. The controller provides three timed boost options — 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 2 hours — selected via a rocker switch, with LED indication showing which interval is active. A separate manual switch controls the fused spur outlet independently of the boost timer.

Designed for electric heating applications such as towel rails, underfloor heating mats, or fan heaters where temporary boost operation is needed outside programmed schedules, the controller allows a user to override the main heating timer without leaving the appliance on continuously. The boost function automatically returns to off after the selected interval expires. The 13A fused spur outlet handles loads up to 3,120W at 240V AC and comes supplied with a replaceable BS1362 13A fuse.

The unit measures 90mm high by 86mm wide, fitting a standard single-gang mounting box for either surface or flush installation. A surface-mount back box is included in the package. The silver finish sits flush with the wall when surface-mounted, and the LED indicators remain visible from across a typical bathroom or utility room. The fused spur provides isolation for hardwired appliances, eliminating the need for a separate switched fused connection unit where boost control is required.
