Potentia LED High Bay 150/180/200W CCT Adjustable IP65 - Black

The Knightsbridge Potentia is a 280mm diameter LED high bay with selectable wattage switching between 150W, 180W and 200W, and dual CCT switching between 4000K and 5000K. The fitting uses a die-cast aluminium body with a polycarbonate diffuser and an integrated suspension eye for chain or cable mounting. Lumiled SMD LEDs deliver between 15,000 and 23,000 lumens depending on wattage and CCT selection, with efficacy up to 169lm/W.

Designed for warehouses, workshops, factories, cold stores and food-safe environments, the Potentia carries an IP65 ingress protection rating against dust and water jets, and an IK08 impact rating. The polycarbonate diffuser spreads light at a 90-degree beam angle, providing general area lighting across large floor areas from mounting heights of 4-10m. A 0-10V dimming input is built into the driver as standard, with an optional DALI plug-in module available for integration with commercial building management systems.

The wattage and CCT switches sit on the driver housing, accessible during installation but not intended for frequent adjustment once the fitting is mounted. The 1m cable run terminates in a mains connector suitable for either hard-wiring or connection to a pre-wired suspension system. Optional accessories include a 60-degree lens for narrower beam control, a microwave motion sensor for presence detection in low-traffic areas, and a surface-mount bracket for installations where chain suspension is impractical. Knightsbridge backs the Potentia with a 5-year warranty and rates the LEDs at L90B10 50,000 hours, meaning 90% of the fittings retain at least 90% of their initial lumen output after 50,000 hours of continuous operation.

How do I change the wattage and colour temperature?

Switches on the driver housing allow you to select between 150W, 180W and 200W, and between 4000K and 5000K. Access the driver before final mounting, set the switches to your preferred configuration, then suspend or fix the fitting. The switches are not intended for frequent adjustment once installed.

What mounting height is recommended?

The 90-degree beam angle suits mounting heights between 4m and 10m depending on floor area coverage required. Lower mounting (4-6m) gives more concentrated light over smaller areas; higher mounting (8-10m) spreads light across larger warehouse or factory floors.

Can I dim this fitting?

Yes. The Potentia has a 0-10V dimming input built into the driver as standard. For DALI control, add the optional DALI plug-in module (sold separately). Standard household dimmer switches are not compatible.

Is it suitable for food preparation areas?

Yes. The polycarbonate diffuser makes the fitting suitable for food-safe environments where a sealed, easy-to-clean lens is required. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and washdown with water jets.
