Description

The Polar is a 135mm circular LED wall light with an integrated coat hook projecting 65mm from the wall, finished in matt black. A 6W LED mounted behind the circular backplate casts a warm 3000K halo around the perimeter, producing 540 lumens with a 120° beam angle that spreads light evenly across the wall surface. The central hook sits proud of the lit ring and provides a single hanging point for coats, bags or hats.

Designed for hallways, entryways and bedroom walls where both ambient light and hanging space are needed, the Polar mounts to a standard UK back box or directly to the wall via a rear mounting plate. The 135mm diameter and 65mm projection suit corridors and passageways without protruding significantly into the walkway. The non-dimmable LED provides consistent output and the matt black finish hides fingerprints and scuffs better than gloss or metallic alternatives.

The circular form and matt black coating give the Polar a utilitarian appearance that pairs with industrial, mid-century and contemporary minimalist interiors. Is the Polar dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at fixed output and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

How much weight can the coat hook hold?

Mantra do not publish a rated load capacity for the hook. The 0.40kg weight of the unit itself and the 65mm projection suggest the hook is designed for lightweight items such as jackets, scarves, handbags or hats rather than heavy winter coats or multiple layers.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?
