The Pietra is a 2 light wall light with curved antique brass stems rising from a rectangular backplate to hold two frosted glass tulip-shaped shades. Each shade houses a G9 bulb (sold separately), and an integrated rocker switch sits on the backplate for direct on/off control without needing to reach for a wall switch. The frosted glass diffuses light softly, providing gentle ambient illumination rather than sharp downward task light.

Designed for hallways, staircases, bedrooms and living rooms where wall-mounted accent lighting is needed at a controlled height, the Pietra's 400mm height and 95mm projection suit walls with restricted clearance — alcoves, narrow hallways, and rooms where furniture sits close to the wall. The switch is built into the backplate as part of the fitting assembly. If it fails within the warranty period, contact Mantra or the retailer for a warranty claim. Outside warranty, the entire fitting would typically need replacing as the switch is not sold as a separate serviceable component.

Can this be used with a dimmer?

Yes, if dimmable G9 bulbs are fitted and the wall circuit is connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The integrated on/off switch on the fitting itself is not a dimmer — it provides only on/off control. Dimming must be controlled via the wall circuit dimmer.

What's the actual projection from the wall once fitted?

The 95mm projection measurement includes the backplate depth and the full extension of the glass shades. This is measured from the wall surface to the furthest forward point of the glass, not including the bulb tip inside the shade.
