The Pearl is a 450mm-diameter semi-flush ceiling light built around a French gold frame supporting cascading Asfour crystal spheres and faceted drops. Nine E14 bulb positions sit within the structure, refracting light through the crystal elements to create prismatic reflections across walls and ceilings. The semi-flush design projects 430mm down from the ceiling rose, positioning the fitting between a flush-mount and a full-drop chandelier.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Pearl provides decorative and ambient light in spaces where a traditional chandelier would hang too low. The circular gold frame holds multiple tiers of crystal: a dense lower band of spherical crystals forming the base, with curved arms rising upward terminating in paired crystal spheres. The French gold finish is a soft warm tone that sits between polished brass and antique gold, reflecting candle-style bulb light without the high shine of chrome or polished brass.

Each crystal element is cut Asfour crystal, a high-clarity lead-free crystal known for consistent refractive quality. The combined weight of the gold-plated frame and crystal components totals 9.5kg, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced ceiling rose. The fitting accepts any standard E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each (bulbs sold separately), and is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The Pearl pairs with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K to enhance the gold tones, or with clear filament-style bulbs for a more traditional presentation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Pearl projects 430mm down from the ceiling rose. For rooms where people walk beneath the fitting, a ceiling height of 2.4m or above is recommended to maintain head clearance. In dining rooms where the fitting sits above a table, slightly lower ceilings can work.

What bulbs does it take?

The Pearl takes nine E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to complement the French gold finish.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no electronic components that would prevent dimming.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the fuse box before cleaning. Wipe individual crystal elements with a dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal frame or allowing water to enter the bulb sockets.
