Description

The Pasion is a 370mm wall light built around a flowing teardrop-shaped fiberglass body finished in gloss black lacquer, paired with polished chrome accent trim and an opal acrylic diffuser. Two E27 bulbs sit behind the diffuser, casting warm 2700K light through the white acrylic panel while the black body reflects minimal glare back into the room.

Designed for hallways, living room feature walls and bedroom reading positions, the Pasion projects 110mm from the wall and mounts on a standard UK back plate. The narrow 100mm width fits alongside doorframes or between picture rails without dominating the wall, while the 370mm height gives enough vertical presence to balance taller spaces. The combination of gloss black and polished chrome works in both monochrome contemporary schemes and warmer interiors where the chrome picks up brass or gold accents elsewhere in the room.

The fiberglass construction keeps the weight to 700g, making the fitting suitable for plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings. The opal diffuser hides the bulb filaments completely when viewed head-on, giving a clean panel of light rather than visible hotspots. The fitting accepts dimmable E27 LED or CFL bulbs, allowing output to be adjusted from accent lighting to functional task light depending on the time of day.

The fitting takes two E27 bulbs up to 15W each, giving output that adjusts to suit reading or general ambient light. Warm 2700K bulbs match the fixed colour temperature quoted, keeping the light consistent across both sockets. What bulbs does the Pasion take?

The fitting accepts two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 15W each. CFL bulbs are included, but these can be replaced with warm-white LED bulbs in the 6-10W range and 2700K colour temperature for longer life and lower running costs.

Is the Pasion dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself is dimmer-ready; the bulbs determine whether dimming is possible.

Can it be fitted to a plasterboard wall?

Yes. The fitting weighs 700g and can be mounted on plasterboard using appropriate plasterboard fixings rated for at least 1kg. If fixing to masonry or timber studs, use the screws and plugs supplied with the fitting.

What height above a bedside should it be mounted?

For bedside reading, the centre of the fitting typically sits 1.2-1.4m above the floor, which positions the light source just above head height when propped up in bed. Adjust this based on bed height and ceiling height in your room.
