Description

The Paola is a 95cm diameter chandelier with eight curved silver-painted arms radiating from a central column, each ending in a cream conical fabric shade fitted with an E14 bulb socket. The arms loop outward and upward in a symmetrical pattern, creating a circular profile when viewed from below. Six optional crystal pendants hang beneath the frame on adjustable cords, adding a decorative element that catches light when the chandelier is lit.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Paola provides ambient lighting through the cream shades while the silver-painted frame reflects light from the room. The 609mm minimum drop positions the chandelier approximately 1900mm above floor level in a standard 2.5m room, suitable for dining table installation. The maximum 2000mm drop accommodates double-height spaces and stairwells. The fixture weighs 8.5kg and requires a ceiling mounting point capable of supporting this load plus the bulbs.

The silver-painted finish on the metal frame gives a cooler metallic tone than brass or bronze, pairing well with contemporary greys, whites and cooler-toned interiors. The cream fabric shades soften the light output and reduce glare compared to exposed bulbs. Each shade is approximately 120mm tall and tapers from a wider top to a narrower base, diffusing light downward and outward.
