Description

The Paola is a 480mm table lamp built around a curved gold-painted metal stem that loops into a ring motif above a domed base. A cream fabric shade sits at the top, housing a single E14 bulb (sold separately), and a removable amber glass droplet hangs from the loop on a small link. The droplet can be left attached for a decorative accent or removed entirely for a cleaner profile.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side tables in bedrooms, living rooms and hallways, the Paola provides soft ambient light through the cream fabric shade. The 140mm shade diameter and 480mm overall height suit narrower surfaces where a larger lamp would overhang the edge. The lamp is dimmable when paired with a dimmable E14 bulb and compatible dimmer switch, allowing light output to be adjusted from full brightness for reading down to low-level night lighting.

The gold finish is painted metal rather than plated brass, giving a warmer, slightly textured appearance compared to polished metallics. The lamp takes one E14 small Edison screw bulb, sold separately. We suggest pairing this with a 4-6W warm-white LED bulb at 2700K-3000K for bedside or ambient use. The maximum wattage depends on the bulb type chosen.

Is the lamp dimmable?

Yes, provided you use a dimmable E14 bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer circuit.

Can the glass droplet be removed?

Yes. The amber glass droplet hangs from the loop on a small link and can be unhooked and removed entirely if you prefer a simpler appearance. The lamp functions identically with or without the droplet attached.

What surfaces is the lamp stable on?
