Description
The Pallo is a compact wall light pairing an opal glass globe diffuser with a faceted polished gold body. A single G9 lamp holder sits at the join between the globe and the metal back plate, with the gold body acting as both decorative element and wall fixing. The fitting stands 38cm tall with an 18cm diameter globe, accepting a G9 bulb up to 33W (sold separately).
The wall light suits hallways, bedside positions either side of a headboard, and dressing-table or vanity walls where a soft pool of light is needed without harsh glare. The opal glass diffuses the G9 lamp evenly across the full sphere, removing the bright filament point and giving a gentle, rounded glow. The compact projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of corridors and circulation routes.
The body is finished in a high-polish gold with a sculpted, faceted profile that catches light from the globe above and from any ambient light in the room. The opal globe is a full sphere rather than a half-shade, so light is thrown both upward to wash the wall and ceiling, and downward across the gold body. The mirror-finish gold pairs cleanly with warm-toned interiors, deeper paint colours, and contemporary or modernist decor schemes.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Pallo takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 33W, sold separately. A warm-white LED G9 between 2700K and 3000K gives the softest result through the opal glass diffuser.
Is it dimmable?
The fitting itself does not restrict dimming. Dimmability depends on the G9 bulb chosen and the dimmer switch used. For dimmed operation, fit a dimmable LED G9 paired with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No IP rating is listed for this fitting, so it is intended for dry indoor locations only. It should not be installed in bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2, or in any position likely to be exposed to splashing water or steam.
How is it fitted to the wall?
The Pallo is hard-wired and mounts to a standard wall position via the back of the gold body. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and a switched fused spur or a wall switch is recommended on the supply circuit.
