Description

The Pallo is a single pendant light built around two distinct glass elements: a glossy white capsule-shaped upper body and a larger opal glass sphere suspended below it, joined by a polished brass collar. The fitting hangs on a slim black cable from a discreet ceiling rose and takes one E27 bulb up to 30W. The opal sphere acts as the primary diffuser, softening the bulb output into an even glow.

This small size measures 20cm in diameter with a 20cm body height, suiting kitchen islands, breakfast bars, bedside positions and entrance halls where a compact light source is wanted without dominating the ceiling line. The 150cm cable allows the pendant to be hung between roughly 700mm and 900mm above a worktop or bedside table depending on ceiling height. Pallo is also offered in medium and large sizes for grouped installations or higher ceilings.

The two-part silhouette is what sets the Pallo apart from standard opal globe pendants. The capsule top adds vertical proportion and balances the round diffuser visually, while the brass ring at the join introduces a warm metallic accent against the cool white glass. The white finish suits Scandinavian, modern and minimalist interiors, and the brass detail gives enough warmth to sit comfortably alongside oak, walnut and warmer paint tones.

What bulb does the Pallo take?

The pendant takes one E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 30W. Bulbs are sold separately. An E27 GLS filament or large globe bulb works well visually, as the upper section of the bulb sits behind the opal glass sphere.

How is the cable shortened during installation?

The cable is supplied at 150cm and can be shortened on installation by a qualified electrician. The drop is then fixed at the chosen length within the ceiling rose.

Can multiple Pallo pendants be grouped together?

Yes. The three available sizes (small 20cm, medium 25cm, large 30cm) are designed to be mixed in clusters of two or three over kitchen islands and dining tables, hung at staggered drop heights. Each pendant is wired individually and requires its own ceiling outlet or a multi-outlet rose.

Is the opal glass fully opaque?

The opal glass is translucent rather than opaque. Light passes through and the entire sphere glows evenly when lit, but you cannot see the bulb shape clearly through the glass. This gives a softer ambient light than a clear glass diffuser.
