Description

The Pallo is a single pendant light that pairs a polished gold capsule-shaped canopy with an opal white glass globe diffuser suspended directly beneath it. A single E27 lamp holder sits inside the globe, and the fitting hangs from a slim cable that drops 150cm from the ceiling rose. Available in three sizes, with globe diameters of 20cm, 25cm and 30cm.

The opal glass softens the E27 source into an even, glare-free wash, making the Pallo well suited to dining tables, kitchen islands, hallways and bedside positions. Single pendants work over breakfast bars and side tables, while the larger 30cm globe carries enough visual weight to sit alone over a dining table. Multiple Pallos can be hung in a row at staggered drops to create a cluster over longer islands or stairwells.

The gold canopy is finished to a high polish that mirrors surrounding light, giving the top of the fitting a jewel-like quality against the matt opal globe below. The contrast between the warm reflective metal and the cool diffused glass is the defining feature of the design. Cable length of 150cm allows the pendant to be hung at standard dining-table height (typically 700-800mm above the surface) in rooms with ceilings up to around 3m, with excess cable trimmed at installation.

What bulb does the Pallo take?

The pendant takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 30W. Bulbs are sold separately. An E27 GLS filament or globe-style LED in 2700K-3000K pairs well with the opal glass and the warm gold canopy.

Which size suits a dining table?

For a dining table, the medium (25cm globe) or large (30cm globe) sizes provide enough presence to sit alone above the centre of the table. The small (20cm globe) is better suited to bedside positions, hallways or as part of a cluster of multiple pendants.

Can the cable be shortened?

Yes. The 150cm cable can be trimmed at installation to set the pendant at the required drop. For a dining table or kitchen island, the globe typically sits 700-800mm above the surface.

Is the opal glass fully diffused?

Yes. The opal white glass globe diffuses the E27 source evenly across its surface, removing visible bulb glare and producing a soft, ambient light rather than a directional beam.
