Description

The Pallo is a single-pendant light built from two stacked forms: a glossy black metal capsule at the top, joined by a small brass collar to a spherical opal glass globe below. The globe acts as the diffuser, housing a single E27 bulb (sold separately) that casts soft ambient light through the milky white glass. The pendant suspends from a thin black cable up to 150cm long.

Designed for installation over dining tables, kitchen islands, breakfast bars and entryways, the Pallo works well as either a standalone fitting or in clusters of two and three at staggered heights. Standard practice is to hang the pendant 700-800mm above a dining surface or 750-900mm above a kitchen island worktop. The 150cm cable can be shortened on installation, and the canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The two-tone construction is what sets the Pallo apart from plain globe pendants. The high-gloss black capsule reflects the surrounding room while the opal globe sits visually weightless beneath it, with the slim brass joint adding a warm metallic accent between the two. Three sizes are available: small at 20cm diameter, medium at 25cm, and large at 30cm. The small suits secondary lighting and tighter spaces, while the medium and large carry enough visual weight to anchor a dining table on their own.

What bulb does the Pallo take?

The pendant takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 30W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white LED filament or globe bulb between 2700K-3000K works well behind the opal glass for a soft ambient glow.

Which size should I choose?

The small (20cm diameter) suits hallways, bedside use, and clustered arrangements. The medium (25cm) works as a single pendant over a small dining table or breakfast bar. The large (30cm) is sized to anchor a dining table or kitchen island on its own, or to be hung in pairs over a longer worktop.

Can the cable be shortened?

Yes. The pendant ships with a 150cm cable that can be cut and re-terminated to the required drop during installation by a qualified electrician.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The Pallo is not supplied with an IP rating and is intended for dry indoor locations. It should not be installed in bathroom zones or in damp environments.
