The Otis is a compact flush ceiling light that brings a little vintage character to a room without asking for much space. A rounded shade of shiny opal glass sits within a brushed gold canopy, and the detailing on that canopy is what gives the fitting its charm. Sitting close to the ceiling, it suits low rooms and spots where a hanging pendant would feel too heavy. The glass diffuses light softly, so the glow spreads evenly rather than dazzling.

Because it carries an IP44 rating, the Otis works in more places than most decorative lights. It is happy in a hallway, on a landing or in a bedroom, and the moisture protection means you can also use it in a bathroom, provided it is fitted in a suitable zone by a qualified electrician. As an interior fitting on mains voltage, it belongs indoors only. Its small footprint makes it a good fit for a cloakroom or a snug corner where a bigger light would crowd the space.
