Description

The Orwell wall light brings together two functions in one satin nickel fitting. The main light sits behind an off-white rectangular shade, while a small adjustable LED reading light is set into the body, ready to angle where you need it. Two switches at the base let you control each light on its own, so you can have soft ambient light, a focused beam for reading, or both at once. The satin nickel finish is warm and understated, and the shade is included in the price.

The fitting measures 290mm high by 260mm wide and weighs 1.46kg. The main light takes 2 x E27 lamps, which are not supplied, with a maximum of 15W per lamp and 18W across the fitting. The built-in LED reading light gives around 936 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature. It is non-dimmable and rated IP20 for interior use, wired as a Class 1 fitting. A USB point is built in, handy for charging a phone or tablet at the bedside.
