Description

The Orlando is an 80cm 12 light crystal chandelier with a French gold metal frame, each arm wrapped in Asfour crystal sheeting and hung with faceted crystal pendalogues and spheres. The chandelier takes 12 E14 candle bulbs (sold separately), positioned on two tiers across the radial arms. The French gold finish is a warmer, slightly antiqued tone compared to standard polished brass, sitting between polished and antique brass in reflectivity.

Designed for double-height spaces, grand dining rooms, entrance halls and hotel lobbies where ceiling heights of 3m or above allow the full 900-2500mm adjustable drop to be utilised, the Orlando pairs decorative and functional lighting. The 800mm diameter and 16kg weight require a ceiling rose rated for the load and professional installation. The two-tier arrangement spreads light more evenly than single-tier chandeliers of similar size, while the crystal-wrapped arms and pendalogues catch and refract light from every bulb.

The Asfour crystal sheeting wraps each arm in a continuous band rather than individual droplets, creating a textured surface that catches light along the full length of the arm. The faceted pendalogues hang at varying lengths from the frame, creating depth when viewed from below. The chandelier arrives in sections requiring assembly and connection on site — this is standard for large multi-tier chandeliers and allows the drop height to be adjusted during installation. The French gold finish pairs with warm-toned interiors, traditional furniture and classical architectural detailing.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Orlando takes 12 x E14 candle bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use warm-white LED E14 candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to complement the French gold finish.

What ceiling height is needed?

The chandelier has a minimum drop of 900mm and a maximum of 2500mm, adjustable on installation. For a double-height entrance hall or stairwell, ceiling heights of 3.5m or above work well. In lower rooms around 2.7-3m, the chandelier can still be fitted at the minimum drop, though it will dominate the space visually.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier frame itself has no electronics — dimming is handled by the bulb and dimmer combination.

Does it require assembly?

Yes. The chandelier arrives in sections and requires on-site assembly and connection before hanging. This is standard for large multi-tier chandeliers and allows the drop height to be adjusted during installation. Professional fitting is recommended given the 16kg weight and need to ensure the ceiling rose is rated for the load.
