Description
A slim horizontal bar carries four small heads that throw their light straight down, so a long table gets an even wash rather than a single bright pool. The bar measures 80cm across, and the finish pairs a black body with antique brass detail, which sits warm against wood and stone. The LED is built in, drawing 32W in all, and the light is a warm white that flatters plates and timber. Output is fixed, with no dimming.
We reach for a linear bar like this over a rectangular dining table, a kitchen island or a long console, where a single round pendant would leave the ends of the run in shadow. The drop is adjustable, so it can hang close to the ceiling or well down into a taller room. It suits open-plan rooms where the table wants its own light, and works as well over a bar in a snug as in a formal dining room. This is an indoor fitting for dry rooms on an ordinary household circuit.
The finish does the work here: a black body with antique brass detail, given an aged tone rather than a bright polish, so fingerprints and small marks show less. Dust it occasionally with a dry duster, power off and the heads cool, and keep sprays and abrasives away from the brass. It carries a three year warranty. The LED and its driver come as part of the fitting, so there is nothing extra to buy and no lamps to change. We stock shorter versions of the same bar, and the range runs on to round pendants and ceiling lights, if you want the dining light and the hallway to agree.

Frequently Asked
How long is the bar, and how far down can it hang?
The bar spans 80cm, with an adjustable drop from 230mm at its shortest to 3500mm at its longest.
How much light does it give, and what colour is it?
The four integrated heads produce 1770 lumens in total at 3000K, a warm white suited to dining and relaxed evening light.
Can I put it on a dimmer switch?
No. This one is non-dimmable, so it should be run from a standard on/off switch.
Do I need to buy lamps for it?
No. The LED is integrated and the driver is supplied with the fitting, rated for around 30,000 hours of use.
How should I clean the brass detail?
Switch the light off at the wall, let the heads cool, then wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid polishes, solvents and anything abrasive, as these will dull the aged brass tone.
Is it suitable for a bathroom or a covered porch?
No. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms such as kitchens, dining rooms and hallways.
