Description

Two integrated LED lights sit along a slim horizontal bar, finished in black with antique brass picking out the detail. The light is warm white, the sort that flatters wood and warm paint, and it is fixed rather than dimmable, so a plain wall switch suits it best. At 55cm the bar reads as a clean line above a table, and the suspension can be shortened or let out so the height sits where you want it.

We would hang this over a dining table or a kitchen island, where a single round pendant often looks lost against the length of the top. It also works down the middle of a narrow hallway, or above a run of open shelving in a study. The light it gives is ambient, a broad warm wash rather than tight pools, so it lifts the whole room and takes good company from wall lights or a lamp in the corner. Anyone after quiet, low fuss lighting over a long surface will get on with it.

The black finish carries the body, with antique brass showing against it, and the driver is built in, so there is nothing further to add. Keep it to dry rooms indoors on the household supply; steam and splashes are not its territory. For cleaning, turn the power off, let the LEDs cool, then run a soft dry cloth along the bar and lift dust from the brass with a brush rather than polish, which would only dull the aged look. It carries a three year warranty.
