The Ora is a 90cm diameter LED chandelier built from a continuous loop of precision-moulded ABS finished in high-gloss automotive-grade red lacquer, with a polished chrome ceiling canopy. Eight E27 bulb positions sit within opal diffuser openings spaced around the looping form, each casting light both through the diffuser and reflecting off the inner curve of the red body.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room centres in spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Ora's adjustable drop runs from 350mm minimum to 1500mm maximum on installation. The sculptural form reads as a single fluid gesture when viewed from below, with the red body appearing to twist continuously around the light sources. The 900mm diameter suits tables and islands between 1.6m and 2.4m long, positioning the fixture as a centrepiece rather than peripheral accent lighting.

The red ABS body is moulded in sections and joined with minimal visible seams, then finished with multiple coats of lacquer to achieve a depth of colour and reflective surface similar to automotive paintwork. The polished chrome canopy and suspension cables provide structural contrast to the organic curves of the red loop. At 3.3kg the fitting needs secure ceiling fixing into a joist or structural anchor rather than a standard plasterboard fixing alone.

The Ora accepts eight E27 bulbs up to 15W each (CFL bulbs included with the fitting, but most users replace these with LED for lower running cost and cooler operation). Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb type chosen and the dimmer model, LED bulbs require an LED-compatible trailing-edge dimmer for smooth dimming without flicker.

Is the Ora dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable E27 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer. The fitting includes CFL bulbs which are dimmable with a standard dimmer, but if replacing with LED bulbs you will need an LED-compatible trailing-edge dimmer to avoid flicker.

What table size does the 90cm diameter suit?

The 900mm diameter works over dining tables or kitchen islands between 1.6m and 2.4m long. For shorter tables the Ora can feel oversized, and for tables longer than 2.4m a second pendant or linear lighting may be needed to avoid dark ends.

How is the red finish maintained?

The automotive-grade lacquer can be wiped with a soft dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or kitchen grease, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid spray cleaners or abrasive materials which can dull the gloss finish over time.

What ceiling fixing is required for the 3.3kg weight?

The Ora needs a ceiling joist, structural anchor or toggle fixing rated for at least 5kg. Standard plasterboard fixings alone are not sufficient, if the ceiling rose position does not align with a joist, a cavity anchor or spreading toggle must be used.
