Description

The Olivia is a 70cm diameter crystal chandelier with a polished chrome frame supporting eight E14 bulb positions beneath a pleated grey gauze shade. Cascades of Asfour-cut crystal droplets hang from the chrome arms in three tiers, refracting light upward into the shade and downward through the open base of the fitting. The grey gauze fabric softens the chrome's reflectivity and diffuses light output while maintaining crystal sparkle.

Designed for dining rooms, large bedrooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.5m or higher, the Olivia provides ambient rather than task light. The 850mm minimum drop positions the shade approximately 1.6m above the floor in a typical 2.5m-high room, allowing comfortable clearance when walking beneath. The adjustable chain drop extends to 2180mm maximum, accommodating double-height spaces and vaulted ceilings. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The grey gauze shade measures approximately 55cm wide at its base and features vertical pleating that creates subtle shadow lines under light. The Asfour crystals are machine-cut lead-free glass, offering consistent clarity and facet geometry across the entire chandelier. The frame carries 6.8kg when assembled, requiring secure ceiling fixings. Bulbs are sold separately — most installations use eight E14 LED candle bulbs at 4-6W each for approximately 3000-4500 lumens combined output, dimmable with compatible LED-rated dimmers.

The chandelier takes eight E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit E14 LED candle bulbs at 4-6W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for a combined output of approximately 3000-4500 lumens.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided dimmable bulbs are fitted and paired with an LED-compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself has no built-in dimming electronics — dimming is controlled by the bulb and wall switch combination.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 850mm minimum drop positions the base of the shade approximately 1.6m above the floor in a standard 2.5m-high room. Ceiling heights of 2.5m or above are recommended. The chain extends to 2180mm maximum for double-height spaces or vaulted ceilings.

Can the grey shade be cleaned?

The gauze shade can be vacuumed gently with a soft brush attachment or wiped with a dry microfibre cloth. Avoid damp cleaning or chemical sprays as the fabric is not treated for moisture resistance. The crystals can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth and dried immediately to maintain clarity.
