Description

The Olivia is a 70cm diameter crystal chandelier with eight E14 candle bulbs positioned beneath a black pleated fabric shade, suspended on an antique brass frame with cascading Asfour cut crystal droplets. The brass arms curve upward to support the shade from beneath, while the crystal strands hang below the bulb layer, catching and refracting light from above.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Olivia provides both ambient and decorative light. The drop is adjustable between 850mm minimum and 2180mm maximum on installation, allowing the chandelier to be set at the appropriate height above a dining table (typically 700-800mm clearance) or centred in a double-height space. The black shade diffuses direct glare from the eight bulbs while the crystals below reflect and scatter the light across the room.

The antique brass finish on the metalwork shows a warm, aged patina rather than the bright yellow of polished brass, pairing well with warm wood tones, deep wall colours and traditional interiors. The black shade is pleated fabric with visible ribbing that creates vertical shadow lines when backlit by the bulbs. Each Asfour crystal droplet is machine-cut with facets that produce prismatic reflections, and the combined weight of frame, shade and crystals brings the total fitting to 6.8kg.

The chandelier accepts any standard E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 40W each (320W total load), sold separately. Pairing with dimmable LED candle bulbs allows the light output to be adjusted from soft background ambience to full brightness for dining or entertaining.
