Description

The Olimpia is an LED table lamp built around a single hollow opal ring suspended on a polished chrome frame with an angled stem and circular base. The integrated 8W LED inside the ring casts 600 lumens of warm 3000K light through the opal diffuser, which softens the output and eliminates direct glare from the source.

Designed by Santiago Sevillano for Mantra Lighting, the Olimpia suits desks, bedside tables, console tables and shelving where ambient task light is needed without the bulk of a traditional shade. The 410mm height positions the ring at eye level when seated, while the 150mm-diameter base keeps the footprint compact enough for narrow surfaces. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs cleanly with modern, minimalist and high-contrast interiors.

The opal ring measures approximately 150mm in diameter and sits at a slight angle to the stem, creating visual movement without affecting light distribution. The chrome frame and base are stamped and welded steel with a mirror-polished finish that shows fingerprints easily but wipes clean with a microfibre cloth. The 100-240V power supply allows the lamp to operate globally without a step-down transformer, though the integrated LED is non-dimmable. At 0.97kg the lamp is light enough to reposition frequently but stable on most surfaces.
