Description

Office is a table lamp in black. A black desk lamp that folds flat: a slim rectangular head hinged to an upright column, which is hinged in turn to a low rectangular base. The head is a long narrow frame with a white panel set into its underside, so the lit surface is a bar rather than a point. The face of the column carries a display showing the time and the temperature, with small touch marks beneath it for the controls. Everything is a fine-grained matt black with a thin bright trim round the base. Folded down the whole lamp lies almost flat on the desk.

It is a lamp for a side table, a desk or a bedside, close enough to reach the switch from where you sit, and it lights the surface it stands on rather than the whole room. A pair either side of a bed or a sofa reads as deliberate where one alone reads as an afterthought, and two smaller lamps light a room more evenly than one large one.

It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms. It carries a G energy label.
