The Octavia is a 420mm-high crystal table lamp built around a curved French gold frame that arcs upward from a circular base, holding two clusters of faceted crystals at different heights along the curve. Each cluster contains multiple individual crystal elements set on a brass armature, with a single G4 bulb at the centre of each cluster casting light through the facets. The lamp arrives with two Luxram G4 halogen bulbs (20W each, 40W total) already fitted.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and side tables in living rooms where decorative task or accent lighting is needed, the Octavia provides directional sparkle rather than room-wide illumination. The inline dimmer on the cable allows the brightness to be adjusted from full output down to a soft glow without needing a wall dimmer circuit. The 180mm base diameter fits typical bedside and console table widths without occupying excessive surface area.

The French gold finish on the metal frame sits somewhere between polished brass and antique gold, with a warm tone that pairs well with traditional and classical interiors using warm neutrals, creams, and mahogany tones. The crystals are facet-cut glass rather than acrylic, giving sharper light refraction and more defined sparkle when the lamp is switched on. At 1.8kg the lamp has enough weight to remain stable on a flat surface without being anchored, though care is needed if placed where the cable might be pulled.

This lamp uses halogen G4 capsule bulbs and is not compatible with LED or CFL G4 alternatives due to the inline dimmer circuitry. Replacement G4 halogen bulbs are widely available and should match the 20W rating to avoid overloading the transformer.
