The Nydia is a 1-light crystal table lamp built around a curved polished chrome arm that rises from a circular base to a single E14 candle-style socket. A faceted cut crystal block sits beneath the lamp holder, refracting light from the bulb into spectral highlights across nearby surfaces. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light even when the lamp is off, giving the fitting a visible presence in daylight.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and side tables in living rooms, the Nydia stands 280mm tall with a 130mm-diameter base footprint. The lamp is supplied without a shade, allowing you to pair it with clip-on fabric shades from the Diyas range or leave the bulb exposed if using a decorative candle flame or filament bulb. The E14 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W and is compatible with dimmable LED bulbs when paired with a suitable dimmer switch.

The crystal block is cut with multiple facets that catch and scatter light, producing a diffused sparkle rather than a single directional beam. The polished chrome arm curves in a gentle S-shape from base to lamp holder, giving the fitting a classical silhouette that pairs with traditional interiors and with contemporary schemes where chrome accents are already present. No. The Nydia is supplied without a shade, allowing you to pair it with clip-on fabric shades from the Diyas coordinated range or to use the lamp with an exposed decorative bulb.

What bulb does it take?

The lamp takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED candle bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient bedside or living room lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable E14 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself does not contain dimming electronics — the dimmer must be installed in the circuit feeding the lamp.
